Designer goods, including handbags, clothing and leather goods, rise to the top for more than half of the millennials and Gen Z survey takers, while 46 percent seek beauty products such as high-end fragrances, skincare and makeup and 43 percent are on the hunt for housewares and decor while on vacation.
Furthermore, 70 percent of millennial and Gen Z respondents say their method of travel – arriving by way of, for instance, a luxury rail service or cruise line – matters as much as the final destination, reinforcing a broader shift toward high-end, experience-first itineraries.
